Lead the overall people & culture strategy for sls playa mujeres, ensuring an organizational culture aligned with the values of sls, ennismore, and accor. This role is responsible for building high-performing teams, ensuring legal and corporate compliance, and delivering exceptional employee experiences throughout the pre-opening, opening, and operational phases of the hotel.
key responsibilities
* ensure all leaders and team members understand and embody the values of sls, ennismore, and aic.
* design and execute the onboarding process across all hiring phases, guaranteeing a premium and consistent experience.
* coordinate and facilitate corporate trainings such as sls/ennismore induction, personal best training, and other brand programs.
* foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment.
* strengthen talent development through training plans, cross-training initiatives, and leadership programs.
* ensure full compliance with mexican labor laws, corporate policies, internal processes, and union regulations.
* oversee administrative processes including terminations, absences, lateness, onboarding, and offboarding.
* manage internal investigations and maintain accurate documentation.
* work closely with the gm, vp people & culture americas, rvp p&c, and vp of openings.
* participate in regional meetings and build strong connections within the ennismore/accor network.
* collaborate with key departments: finance, sales, marketing, revenue, pr, and legal.
* ensure smooth and consistent communication between corporate and property teams.
* participate in p&l reviews, forecasting discussions, and alignment on hotel goals and priorities.

professional profile
* previous experience as director or senior manager of human resources/people & culture in luxury hospitality.
* strong knowledge of mexican labor law, union relations, and compliance processes.
* exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence executive-level leaders.
* advanced english required.
