Position objective
ensure the supply of materials meets the production schedule and maintains minimum stock levels to support assembly line continuity. Deliver efficient, effective, and flexible solutions to meet production requirements, while safeguarding financial and odc indicators. Maintain strong internal and external relationships to ensure supply chain requirements are met.
roles & responsibilities
1. ensure parameter accuracy in sap for all assigned materials according to the planning strategy.
2. ensure shipping compliance and monitor due dates according to internal guidelines.
3. perform daily md06 maintenance and address exception codes as needed.
4. escalate supply chain risks promptly and accurately.
5. develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
6. maintain close communication with key support areas.
7. own and resolve material planning issues, including over or under delivery.
8. supervise planning risks and ensure contingency plans are in place.
9. design and implement flexible solutions to improve business efficiency, including financial budgets.
10. support production challenges and implement action plans to secure manufacturing operations.
11. support internal continuous improvement initiatives.
12. monitor inventory levels and ensure record accuracy for all assigned materials.
13. address inventory inaccuracies with logistics and conduct root cause analysis for incidents.
14. manage obsolescence and overstock governance.
15. execute chargeback processes with suppliers according to internal guidelines.
16. collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions, embracing the brp benefit mindset.
17. ensure material demand is met and deliveries are on time, based on the original mrp schedule.
18. work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
19. participate in supplier meetings and negotiations to address capacity constraints.
20. coordinate closely with the purchasing team to fulfill production requirements.
21. maintain daily accuracy and standardization of work activities.

position profile
bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or similar.
professional experience
* minimum 2 years in material planning or logistics roles.
languages
- fluent in written and spoken spanish.
- proficient in english (minimum 90%).
- knowledge of french or german is an advantage.
