We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as **Controller**, based in** **Apodaca Plant (Apodaca, Nuevo León, México)**.
As Controller Plant will be responsible to work in partnership with the operations and corporate personnel to ensure that the Company achieves its financial and operating commitments. To drive continuous process and systems improvements, while maintaining strong controls.
**Your Task will be**
- Annual Budget, work with Operations and review with them to get Team Commitment
- Monthly Forecast review, HFM submission including stats, balance sheet and all Forecast reports.
- Operational weekly review, variance to Forecast, assessment for month and close.
- Ensure compliance and execution of all financial auditable procedures (SOX/FOA)
- Internal Control responsible in Plant.
- Give Share Service support (Payroll / Accounts Payable).
- Lead actions to reduce operating costs.
- Responsible for the correct segregation of functions in the plant (Review of functions and access to Systems).
- Compliance with the policies and procedures of quality, environment and work standards of Lear Corporation
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance.
- 2+ years as Financial Manager, Controller or similar positions preferred in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
- Knowledge: Tax and Labor Law, Sox, General Accounting, preferably with knowledge in Hyperion and QAD, carrying out financial evaluations, identifying risks and opportunities, cost control and operating budgets, annual budget preparation, compliance with financial and tax obligations, cash flow projections, processes, and internal control management.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English).
- Previous Budgeting & Forecasting experience for a multi-national organization.
- Proven Analytical, Communications and Organizational skills.
- Ability to interface across multiple organizations, product lines and levels in the organization.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible and/or changeable schedule, especially during the month end close process. #LI-LM1
