we are currently seeking a driver manager with safety experience to join our team in querétaro. This role will work in a dynamic environment and closely collaborate with the safety and compliance department.
schedule: monday to saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
responsibilities
* act as the main point of contact for assigned drivers, maintaining constant and effective communication.
* coordinate and conduct onboarding and initial training processes for new drivers.
* monitor daily operations, ensuring punctuality, route compliance, and proper service execution.
* report and follow up on incidents or situations raised by drivers in collaboration with the safety, human resources, and operations departments.
* supervise compliance with internal safety policies, proper use of units, driver behavior, and presentation.
* provide regular feedback to drivers based on performance, safety indicators, and service quality.
* support the implementation of continuous improvement plans and driver retention programs.
* manage daily/weekly reports on key indicators (turnover, attendance, performance, incidents).
* promote a positive and respectful work environment among drivers and other company departments.
* bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, transportation, or related field (preferred).
* minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions within the transportation or logistics sector.
* strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
* knowledge of transportation regulations, road safety, and managing operational staff.
* proficiency in office tools (excel, email, logistics management systems).
