we're seeking a skilled market development specialist to drive sales growth and expand our presence in mexico. As part of our meetings & events network, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to boost revenue and market share.
main responsibilities:
* develop and implement sales plans to increase revenue and market presence in mexico.
* manage key client relationships and acquire new business opportunities for both agencies and corporate clients.
* nurture existing partnerships and reactivate dormant potential clients to drive business growth.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify marketing and sales activities that enhance market positioning and brand awareness.
* share market intelligence and client insights across the network.
* lead and manage a team of professionals in a professional, business-oriented manner.
requirements:
* degree in tourism, business administration, marketing, or event management.
* a minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and business development in mice, with a deep understanding of client expectations.
* native spanish speaker with strong knowledge of local culture and business environment.
* business-level english proficiency.
* strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, collaboration, problem-solving, strategy development, and implementation.
* high level of it literacy and ability to prepare detailed client reports.
