Job description – ame the ame is responsible to complete all the advance manufacturing deliverables for a program to develop and launch the manufacturing process.essential duties and responsibilities: · development of manufacturing processes by completing detailed engineering analysis of: · design for assembly and manufacturing (dfam) · logistics and contingency planning · process flow (pf) · process labor planning & line balance · material flow and line side presentation · plant layout · ergonomic analysis · process failure mode and effect analysis (pfma) · specific support activities for other programs in the region · prepare and present the program revisions with the sdt · production equipment & tooling specification, purchase and acceptance · validation of manufacturing process to meet labor targets, production output and quality standards (oee) · analysis gdt (dimensiones y tolereancias geometricas) · ownership of apqp manufacturing deliverables · statistical knowledge (spc, msa, capability study, doe) · value stream mappingqualification:to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.· bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial or mechanical preferred) · bi-lingual english/spanish · minimum 5 years of industry experience - automotive interiors experience preferred · experience with seating products (desired) · pfmea development · modapts or equivalent training/certification (wish) · direct and indirect labor analysis and planning · equipment specification, ordering, run-off, installation and qualification · capital equipment budget planning and tracking · strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn new software/applications · ability to draw two dimensional layouts in cad software · analytical problem solving · design for assembly and manufacturing · project management - plan development and execution · communication · ability to work with the customer, program, designeers and commercial team · leadership with supplier and internal teams. · leadership of ramp-up, problem solving, and stabilization · cross-functional manufacturability reviews with designers · plc knowledge and programing desire.
