- your key responsibilities:
- your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- you lead and inspire the regional payroll team to ensure the right people, at the right time, get paid the right amount
- you lead our approved global payroll transformation project to standardize and streamline our current set-up over the next 3-4 years
- you provide inputs to the p&o services strategy, develop plans within the focus area and ensure its implementation across assigned region / business areas, while continuously driving improvement and innovation.
- you implement service level management in partnership with our regions and vendors to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- you analyze and identify potential design improvements (in cooperation with p&o), providing change management support and appropriate communications to prepare implementation of new services and processes.
- you partner closely with various stakeholders (finance, tax, total rewards, legal, it and the business) to ensure payroll is processed securely as per defined procedures, guidelines, legal requirements and in compliance with local laws and regulations
- you keep up to date on required regulatory/compliance requirements and ensure compliance across the function
- you manage and drive resolution in any escalated operational delivery risks or issues
- you manage and influence multiple stakeholders including expectations end-to-end are clearly defined and understood
- you manage the preparation and finalization of budget/resource allocation and investments plans for the area of responsibility, conduct periodic cost and efficiency analyses to support productivity objectives, monitor, and initiate additional activities if require throughout the region.
- you oversee the management, training and development of p&o services teams
- you lead or initiate various p&o services projects.

*minimum requirements*
- you have successfully completed a business administration degree or its equivalent in education and experience with a major area of concentration in business or accounting preferred or equivalent education and experience
- you have +10 years of professional experience in the payroll field
- in addition, you have profound experience in leading global teams and working in a matrixed environment
- you are very experienced in managing vendors from negotiating contracts to continuous improvement (adp gv, celergo, streamline, alight, )
- you have proven experience in leading a payroll transformation project
- you have experience with major payroll and erp systems required (e.g., workday, service now)
- furthermore, you can influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior management
- languages: fluency in spanish and english. Portuguese is a plus.
