- logistics coordination: oversee the logistics process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all operations related to freight forwarding.
- communication: serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, effectively communicating logistics needs and updates. Ensure that all parties are well-informed throughout the transportation process.
- problem-solving: identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during operations. Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to address challenges efficiently.
- documentation management: maintain and manage all necessary documentation related to logistics operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- collaboration: work closely with various departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse teams, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- performance tracking: monitor and report on key performance indicators (kpis) related to logistics operations, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
*qualifications*
- experience: a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics operations or related fields, preferably within the context of freight forwarding.
- educational background: a degree in logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- skills: strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both english and spanish.
- technical proficiency: familiarity with logistics software and tools, as well as proficiency in microsoft office suite (excel, word, powerpoint).
- team player: ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
- adaptability: must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
