Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design and manage robust, secure, and scalable systems. If you thrive in complex environments and enjoy building reliable infrastructure in fast-paced, security-focused teams, this role is for you.
Job Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure with a focus on high availability, observability, and security.
Manage cloud-based infrastructure (primarily AWS), including networking, IAM, security controls, monitoring, and data stores.
Deploy and maintain self-hosted workflow tools like n8n, ideally within Docker/Kubernetes environments.
Ensure infrastructure meets strict compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2) and implement best practices in security and data privacy.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and attend meetings on time to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
Integrate APIs and webhooks into existing infrastructure with an emphasis on reliability and performance.
Job Requirements
Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
6+ years of experience in backend, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering roles.
Impeccable punctuality (schedules are adaptable but being in time for meetings is crucial)
Prior exposure to EHR or healthcare platforms, especially Healthie.
Deep experience with AWS services, especially in the areas of networking, IAM, monitoring, data stores, and security architecture.
Experience operating and maintaining self-hosted tools like n8n, with a strong emphasis on observability and resilience (Docker/K8s)
Familiarity with compliance-heavy environments (HIPAA, SOC2), or a strong interest in learning and applying best practices in this space.
Comfortable working with APIs and webhooks in production environments.
Nice to have
Experience with Python, Node.js, or TypeScript.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
