Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related field.
- professional certifications in esh (e.g., csp, cih, psm) are a plus.
- a strong background with mexican state & federal environmental regulations for chemical manufacturing, distribution and storage industries.
- familiarity with a chemical manufacturing environment in mexico.
- in-depth knowledge of mexican environmental, safety, health, and quality regulations.
- knowledge of psm principles, hazard analysis methodologies.
- 3-5 years of experience in eshq management, with a focus on chemical manufacturing.
- strong computer skills, including proficiency in microsoft office.

*environmental*:
- ensure meticulous compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations in mexico.
- develop and implement environmental management systems aligned with mexican regulatory standards.
- possess a deep understanding of and experience with mexican environmental regulations.
- conduct environmental impact assessments and audits specific to mexican environmental laws.
- collaborate closely with regulatory agencies in mexico and ensure timely submission of required reports.
- implement programs for waste management, recycling, and energy conservation in accordance with mexican regulations.
*safety*:
- develop, implement, and manage safety programs and policies, adhering to mexican occupational health and safety regulations.
- conduct safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards per mexican safety standards.

- develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, aligning with mexican safety protocols.

- ensure all processes and operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
- monitor and address gaps in regulatory compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- coordinate audits and inspections, ensuring timely resolution of findings or non-conformities.
*management of change (moc)*:
- lead the moc’s to evaluate, document, and implement changes to processes, equipment, or operations.
- coordinate with stakeholders to assess the impact of proposed changes on safety, quality, and performance.
- ensure all changes are effectively communicated, documented, and integrated into operational workflows.
- conduct post-implementation reviews to validate the effectiveness and safety of changes solutions.
