Overview
Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges: Join a team of development program professionals to support dev programs within one of Honeywell's businesses. You will help implement program plans, budgets, schedules and execute a programmatic MOS, support forecasting & capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. You will play an important role in the IPDS process and strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support business leaders and present programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status as assigned. You will also be working under moderate supervision of the program manager to execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value & quality while demonstrating PM skills including risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for planning and execution of small to medium size systems and service projects typically <$5M
- Single point of contact for the customer and customer experience during project execution
- Lead multi-disciplined teams including HSE, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Software, and Installation
- Develop project schedules and manage key KPIs (EV, SPI, CPI)
- Work with Sourcing to develop sub-contract RFP/RFQs, SOWs and Buyouts required for the project and manage sub-contract performance
- Ensure operational compliance with project procedures, processes and tools
- Manage project Risk, Opportunity and Issues and execute mitigation and actions plans, as required
- Leverage existing project lessons learned and document new lessons throughout the project
- Develop installation and commissioning plans
- Lead site activities overseeing HSE, engineering, installation, commissioning and acceptance
- Ensure scope management and change management throughout the project lifecycle
- Document and communicate project progress and status to all required stakeholders
- Manage project closeout and turnover to Service
- Ability to travel up to 50% throughout North America including frequent weekend travel
You Must Have
- 3 to 5 years of project management or senior engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline
- Effective Project Management and execution skills
- Experience working in a matrixed project organization
- Material handling execution materials
- Fluent English speaking, written
We Value
- PMP certification
- Supply chain management experience
- Material Handling industry automation or adjacent industry automation experience
- Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and SharePoint
- Knowledge of IT and financial systems preferred (Sales Force, SAP, etc.)
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
- Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
