*job summary*:
*key responsibilities*:
- assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- feed and water livestock, ensuring their general health and welfare.
- operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, mowers, and harvesters.
- help with the repair and maintenance of farm infrastructure, including fencing, barns, and storage areas.
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm, including cleaning animal pens and equipment.
- perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and tools.
- monitor crop and livestock conditions, reporting any signs of disease or distress to the farm manager.
- follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling tools, machinery, and chemicals.
- assist with seasonal tasks such as preparing fields for planting and harvesting.
- keep accurate records of tasks completed, crop yields, and livestock health.
*qualifications*:
- previous farm or agricultural experience preferred, but not required.
- basic knowledge of farm equipment and machinery is an advantage.
- strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- good communication and teamwork skills.
- a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the farm.
- willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

- ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- comfortable working in all weather conditions.
