we’re looking for a creative and driven marketing coordinator to join our team! Reporting to the marketing manager, you’ll help craft and execute exciting campaigns while creating content that captures our brand. If you’re great at coordinating projects and producing engaging, high-quality materials, this role is for you.

*essential responsibilities*
marketing strategy and campaign support:
- coordinate content schedules using planning tools to maintain a consistent and engaging calendar.
- analyze and report on marketing performance metrics to refine campaigns and inform future strategies.
- stay informed about the latest marketing trends, social platform updates, and design tools, adopting innovative practices to keep campaigns fresh and effective.
- perform miscellaneous tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the marketing department.
Content creation and coordination:
- research and write engaging copy for blogs, campaigns, advertisements, and more to effectively convey key messages and drive member engagement and bookings in english. Spanish translations will often be requested.

*work environment*
this full-time position is based either at villa del palmar puerto vallarta or our company office in guadalajara. Occasional travel to other resort locations within mexico to gather information and create content may be required.
The role is supervised remotely from the united states, making regular conference calls an essential part of the workflow. Work is primarily conducted in english, including most writing tasks, while spanish is required for communication with teams in mexico and for translating content from english to spanish.

*required skills*:
- prior marketing communications experience and/or equivalent coursework
- strong written and verbal communication skills in both english and spanish
- excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment (experience with project management platforms is preferred, but not required)
- basic graphic design skills and familiarity with photo/video editing programs and apps (preferred)
- understanding of marketing analytics and reporting to measure campaign effectiveness
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently while contributing to a larger team dynamic

language requirements
while the majority of work will be conducted in english, there may be occasional instances where spanish is required, particularly for translating content or collaborating with spanish-speaking teams at our resorts.
