Job description:
we are seeking a skilled food preparation team member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will also wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
you will prepare and cook food according to presentation standards and food preparation checklists. Additionally, you will operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, and monitor food quality while preparing food.
other responsibilities include setting up and breaking down work stations, serving food in proper portions onto proper receptacles, washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment, and checking the correctness of appliance temperatures and food.
required skills and qualifications:
* high school diploma or equivalent
* at least 1 year of related work experience
