essential functions
* applies theories learned in a classroom setting to real world, professional situations.
* observes and performs a diverse array of assigned tasks, activities, and projects under guidance from one or more professional mentors.
* abides by all policies, procedures, and work regulations as defined by the supervisor and/or co-op facilitator.
* performs all assignments in a professional and businesslike manner.
* practices the utilization of specialized instrumentation, equipment, software, and other technologies.
* maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and reports any concerns to supervisor and/or co-op facilitator.
* periodically seeks and receives feedback on job performance.
* participates in seminars or workshops designed to develop professional and scientific skills, including effective strategies for project design, time management, data analysis, and communication.
* may prepare and deliver formal written reports or oral presentations.
* attends and contributes to departmental and/or team meetings.
* establishes and maintains effective relationships with team members and professionals in the designed field of work.
