Job Summary
The Art Director / Creative Lead is a strategic and creative leader responsible for guiding the visual direction, quality, and innovation of presentation and design outputs. This role combines creative oversight with operational leadership, ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations, brand standards, and project goals. The Art Director collaborates with internal teams, clients, and global partners to drive excellence across campaigns, branding, and visual storytelling.
Responsibilities and Duties
Creative Leadership & Oversight
- Lead the conceptual development of presentations, branding, and design projects.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to designers, ensuring alignment with brand identity and client goals.
- Review and approve all creative outputs, maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
- Present creative concepts to clients and stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
Client & Account Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and the studio.
- Manage client expectations and nurture long‑term relationships through effective communication and delivery.
Studio Operations & Team Leadership
- Oversee daily studio operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and team coordination.
- Mentor and guide designers, fostering professional growth through regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Monitor team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Workflow Optimization & Strategic Collaboration
- Develop and refine studio processes to improve efficiency and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Collaborate with project managers and general teams to align creative vision with project scope and timelines.
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage project budgets, staffing, and timelines to ensure profitability and timely delivery.
- Support strategic planning and operational decision‑making.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of design principles, branding, and creative workflows.
- Proficiency in design tools, especially PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent conceptual and visual storytelling skills.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
- Experience in multimedia design and creative production processes.
- Strategic thinking with strong problem‑solving and project management abilities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative field; additional training in business or management is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a creative studio or agency, with at least 3 years in a leadership or operations role.
- Hands‑on experience in design or creative production and global collaboration with other design agencies.

MXN $660,000.00 – MXN $780,000.00 /yr.
