Job overviewinvolves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination related to front‑line operations, including data entry, ramp activities, sorting, tracing, dispatch, and local customer service. Although operational tasks may be part of these roles, most time is spent on office‑based activities.key responsibilities handle escalated or complex issues. Coordinate team activities and agency contract staff. Support supervisor or manager activities. Assist customer by tracing packages, answering questions regarding fedex products and services, providing over‑the‑counter and phone service. Prepare various operations reports. Handle customers with packages in cage. Maintain and audit records and files, including airway bills. Review airway bills and register as necessary; interface with customers on customs‑related issues. Provide administrative and clerical support to station ops manager. Check packages for correct labeling, weight, size, wrapping, insurance values, hazardous material requirements, and customs documentation. Maintain neat and clean appearance of workplace/front counter, self and uniform. Identify new customers or business opportunities, open new accounts, obtain additional shipments and submit sales leads. Perform other duties as assigned.minimum requirementshigh school degree or equivalent.proficiency in english (minimum 450 toeic points).minimum experienceprevious clerical or customer service experience in a service environment or at least 18 months as a service agent.minimum required skills ability to lift 70 lbs. (32 kgs) and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs. (68 kgs) with appropriate equipment. Proficient general office skills, including typing, filing, and computer literacy. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Clear and articulate speaking voice. Clean‑cut and neat appearance. Ability to successfully complete reading, listening, sorting, and math sections of the basic skills test.
