*about the role & team*
as a senior account manager, you will be accountable for driving the profitable growth by identifying, pursuing and closing business opportunities for tier 2 customers.
you are the ultimate owner of the customer relationship, by becoming the trusted advisor to the client.
*what you'll do*
- drive all sales activities to meet both short
- and long-term objectives and shape strategic growth plans for accounts.
- own and manage up to four tier 2 accounts, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
- support and coach the account management team, fostering collaboration and alignment toward business goals.
- develop and implement a documented business plan aligned with both immediate and long-term objectives.
- regularly review and update account development plans to ensure focus on growth opportunities and resource alignment.
- build and manage strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- identify growth strategies by understanding customer needs and providing unique insights to reframe their business perspectives.
- develop a sales pipeline for future growth by collaborating with marketing and converting leads into sales opportunities.
- lead a virtual cross-functional team to ensure effective resource management, delegation, and team development.
- ensure compliance, address commercial and operational issues, and support cash collection activities to resolve payment issues.
qualifications:

- *
sales experience & industry expertise*: over 7 years of sales experience, preferably in the ati or it sectors, with a deep understanding of b2b it and the aviation industry.
- * client relationship & account management*: proven ability to build strong relationships with senior executives, drive account development plans, and manage large, complex deals, including negotiations and closing.
- * business development & revenue growth*: successful track record in business development, pipeline management, achieving/exceeding sales targets, and driving revenue growth in high-turnover environments.
- * sales leadership & commercial acumen*: strong sales leadership, negotiation, and consultation skills, combined with deep financial and commercial knowledge, including familiarity with contract structures and the legal environment.
- * strategic market understanding*: in-depth knowledge of key industry metrics, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and the specific business realities within the relevant geography or sector.
