we are looking for a proactive and highly skilled systems administrator responsible for ensuring the proper operation and security of the company's entire it infrastructure. This role is crucial for maintaining business continuity, digital security, and providing technical support to internal users.
main responsibilities
1. supervise, maintain, and optimize all computer equipment (pcs, laptops, printers, servers, etc.).
2. manage institutional software, including licenses, updates, and compatibility.
3. implement and maintain it security policies and data protection strategies to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information systems.
4. manage and renew cybersecurity tools such as antivirus software and firewalls.
5. provide first- and second-level technical support to staff.
6. monitor and back up data storage systems; support disaster recovery processes.
7. coordinate with technology service providers and manage it-related purchases.
8. document technical processes and prepare incident and improvement reports.
9. ensure compliance with it standards and best practices.
10. propose and implement technological improvements aligned with company objectives.
11. configure and secure organizational email systems, including mfa enforcement, provider settings (google workspace/m365), and email authentication protocols (spf, dkim, dmarc) to prevent spoofing and phishing.
12. oversee domain registration and dns configuration, ensuring secure setup and ongoing protection of critical records related to email, web hosting, and third-party services.
13. develop and maintain it incident response plans, investigate security breaches, and provide cybersecurity awareness training to staff to mitigate human error risks.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field.
* at least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
* proven experience in hardware, network, software, and cybersecurity management.
* proficiency in windows and macos operating systems.
* knowledge of lan/wan networks and tcp/ip protocols.
* experience with it security tools, including antivirus, firewalls, and data backups.
* server management experience (physical or virtual environments).
* familiarity with remote administration and technical support tools.
* ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
* experience managing email systems (google workspace or microsoft 365), including mfa setup and security configuration.
* knowledge of dns settings and domain management (spf, dkim, dmarc).
* understanding of cybersecurity best practices, phishing prevention tools, and staff training methods.
