key responsibilities
* responsible for day‐to‐day operation of thru‐hole equipment
* ensure thru‐hole equipment operates at the required quality level
* monitor kpis and provide daily reports on back‐end process performance
* perform preventive and corrective maintenance on thru‐hole equipment
* ensure all safety systems on through equipment are operating correctly
* develop and validate selective soldering programs
* develop and validate press‐fit programs
* develop and validate soldering thermal profiles
requirements
* 5 years or more experience on the smt process
* technical degree in electronics or a related field (required). An engineering degree is desirable
* strong troubleshooting knowledge of production equipment
* strong knowledge of selective soldering processes
* knowledge and experience in robot programming, operation, and maintenance
* experience measuring, interpreting, and adjusting thermal profiles
* knowledge of ipc‐a‐610 class 3 criteria
* knowledge of the press‐fit process for assembling tht components
* knowledge of capability analysis (cpk)
