we are seeking a highly skilled performance test engineer with strong expertise in apache jmeter to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing methodologies-covering scripting execution monitoring and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our applications deliver scalability stability and responsiveness under varying loads.
key responsibilities
* design and implement effective performance testing strategies using apache jmeter.
* develop maintain and execute performance test scripts for web and api-based applications .
* conduct load stress scalability and endurance testing to validate system behavior.
* analyze results to identify bottlenecks constraints and opportunities for optimization.
* collaborate with development qa and devops teams to resolve performance issues.
* monitor system and application performance using tools such as grafana dynatrace new relic or influxdb .
* prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
* continuously improve performance testing frameworks processes and best practices.
required skills & qualifications
* 7 years of experience in performance testing .
* strong hands-on expertise with apache jmeter (scripting & execution).
* solid understanding of performance testing types (load stress endurance scalability).
* proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and identifying root causes.
* experience with performance monitoring tools (grafana new relic dynatrace influxdb).
* proven track record in testing web applications apis and backend services .
* strong documentation and communication skills.
nice to have
* familiarity with ci/cd tools (jenkins gitlab ci).
* exposure to cloud platforms (aws azure gcp).
* scripting knowledge in shell python or groovy .
