this individual will merge scientific understanding with commercial strategy to drive value for customers and build lasting partnerships.
a strong foundation in animal nutrition and production systems, combined with commercial acumen, will be key to success in this role.key responsibilitiesbusiness growth & account management- build and manage a portfolio of customers within the poultry and/or swine segments.
- identify new opportunities for growth and work proactively to develop these into long-term partnerships.
- strengthen existing relationships through ongoing support, engagement, and solution delivery.product application & promotion- communicate the technical and commercial benefits of the company's feed additive solutions to nutritionists, producers, veterinarians, and other key stakeholders.
- deliver tailored technical presentations that address customer-specific goals and challenges.technical support & field trials- collaborate with customers to design and implement field trials; analyze performance data and translate results into business insights.
- support internal technical teams by contributing insights from field use and customer feedback.market insights & strategic support- monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform sales strategy.
- provide valuable market intelligence to contribute to product development and positioning efforts.cross-functional collaboration- work closely with r&d, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of customer needs with internal capabilities.
- act as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring effective implementation and product performance.reporting & crm- maintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and regional performance through crm tools.
- provide regular forecasting, territory analysis, and activity reports.required experience:- 3–5 years of experience in sales, technical support, or business development within the animal health or feed industry.
- proven track record of building strong customer relationships and achieving commercial goals.
- knowledge of commercial poultry and/or swine production systems in mexico.education & skills:- degree in animal science, animal nutrition, or a related agricultural discipline.
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- comfortable working independently while also collaborating cross-functionally.
