Lead generation intern – the gao group

the gao group, usa & canada. Headquarters in nyc, usa, and toronto, canada. Its member companies are leading suppliers of advanced electronics and network products for engineers worldwide.

location: (mention country)/virtual/remote


key responsibilities

* conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential leads and target markets. Collect and organize contact details and company information using various online tools and databases.
* regularly update and verify lead data, ensuring accuracy and removing duplicates. Segment leads by industry, location, company size, etc., to support targeted marketing strategies.
* assist in drafting and sending outreach emails or messages to prospective clients. Help develop personalized content, email templates, and outreach strategies to maximize engagement.
* work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with broader campaign goals. Provide insights into lead behavior, preferences, and trends to refine outreach strategies.
* participate in training sessions to gain expertise in lead generation tools, crm software, and industry best practices. Get hands-on experience with platforms like linkedin sales navigator, hubspot, salesforce, and more.
* ai-supported data scraping, automated lead qualification, and market segmentation.


qualifications

* currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
* preference for candidates with chinese language proficiency
* interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
* proficient with microsoft office suite (excel, word) or google workspace.
* good organizational and research skills.
* previous coursework, internships, or projects in sales, marketing, or data analysis.
* familiarity with linkedin and other professional networking tools.

As part of our strategic growth in latin america, we are looking for a capable and experienced sales representative to join our mexico office and support market development in the region.


meide group – sales representative (mexico)


key responsibilities

* develop and manage local distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts in the piping and plumbing hardware industry;
* promote meide's full range of products: ductile iron pipes, smart water meters, valves, malleable iron fittings, grooved systems, etc.;
* identify and pursue business opportunities in construction, water supply, fire protection, and infrastructure projects;
* lead the full sales cycle: customer identification, presentations, quotations, contract negotiation, and after-sales follow-up;
* build long-term relationships with contractors, project consultants, epc firms, and resellers;
* provide market intelligence and customer feedback to optimize strategy and product offerings;
* coordinate with internal departments including technical, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.


requirements

* 2~3 years of sales experience in a related industry (e.g., pipes, valves, fittings, plumbing hardwares);
* proven ability to independently develop distribution channels and major accounts;
* good understanding of the local construction materials and infrastructure market;
* fluent in spanish and english (spoken and written);
* excellent skills in business development, communication, and relationship management;
* bachelor's degree in engineering, international business, or related fields;
* willingness to travel as needed within mexico.

* analizar, recopilar y subir documentos necesarios para que nuestros clientes se vuelvan solares.
* esta es una startup, nos ayudarás a innovar y construir una mejor empresa.

requisitos

* soft skills: motivación, resolución de problemas, organización, comunicación, escucha activa, orientación al cliente y misión.
* hard skills: experiencia en ventas de al menos 1 año, negociación, orientación al logro, willingness to travel dentro de méxico; spanish/english; título profesional.
* deseable: carreras relacionadas, experiencia en industria solar, espíritu emprendedor.
