what will you do:
- lead and execute structural, dynamic, and multiphysics fem analyses (static, modal, thermal, fatigue, nonlinear, etc.).
- develop, implement, and maintain model‐based design (mbd) architectures using matlab/simulink.
- build co‐simulation environments that integrate fem outputs into mbd frameworks when needed.
- partner with design, test, and product engineering teams to correlate simulations with physical testing.
- document assumptions, boundary conditions, results, and design recommendations in clear technical reports.
- communicate results to u.s.-based customers and internal stakeholders in clear, fluent english.
- support design reviews by recommending structural improvements based on analysis findings.
- contribute to best practices, standard procedures, and simulation automation initiatives within the team.

- proven track record in electromechanical system design and integration, with expertise in both electronic and mechanical components.
- strong technical leadership abilities with experience in cross‐functional team environments.
- mastery of multiple specialized skills in electromechanical and electrotechnical domains.

- strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts.

- bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of hands‐on experience in finite element analysis using tools such as ansys, abaqus, optistruct, or similar.
- proven experience with model‐based design using matlab/simulink (control systems, system‐level modeling, or simulation automation).
- strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, material behavior, and multiphysics interactions.
- fluency in english (spoken and written) for customer communication.
- proficiency with cad tools such as creo or solidworks for geometry preparation, simplification, and design collaboration.
- experience with scripting or automation (matlab, python).
- exposure to electromechanical systems, powertrain components, or thermal‐structural coupling.
- familiarity with doe, optimization, or surrogate modeling.
- experience collaborating with test labs for simulation/validation correlation.
