hmd trucking inc. is looking for a safety assistant who wants to contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and be part of an industry leading organization that consistently sets new standards.
what you will be doing:
* log audit: record review of hours for accuracy and completeness (log checks with registered data, such as gps, bol, fuel, inspections, etc.)
* responding to the calls regarding the log issues
* responding to the accident calls
* guiding the driver through all the necessary steps
* collecting all the data
* creating the accident report
* getting the accident videos from netradyne
* locating the dot certified clinic and sending the driver for post-accident drug and alcohol test if required
* coaching the drivers for hos
experience and desired skills:
* proficient in spoken and written english (must)
* ability to work under pressure
* ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently
* ability to follow instructions and deliver quality results
* past work experience that is relevant is a plus
