we are seeking a highly motivated and action-oriented business transformation specialist to help optimize processes across our engineering support teams. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of analytical prowess, technical understanding, and strong program management capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for complex engineering projects, translating them into actionable technical specifications, and then overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of these programs from inception to completion. This role is critical in ensuring that our engineering solutions align with strategic business objectives and are delivered efficiently and effectively.
key responsibilities
* business analysis & requirements management: collaborate with engineering teams to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, translating them into clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements.
* facilitate requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions with diverse groups.
* conduct in-depth and data-driven analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
* develop detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and data models for process solutions.
* act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations on technical feasibility and business impact.
program & project management
* define program scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk management strategies.
* lead and manage multiple engineering projects within the program lifecycle, ensuring adherence to established methodologies (e.g., agile, scrum).
* coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution.
* monitor program progress, track key performance indicators (kpis), and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
* proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
* ensure program deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
required qualifications
* bachelor's degree in social sciences (i.e. Data science, political science, economics) business administration, engineering or a related field.
* exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to understand end-to-end processes from an aerial view
* strong understanding of engineering principles and technical concept, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
* excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical and business information clearly and concisely.
* familiarity with project management software (e.g., jira, confluence, microsoft project or loop).
* demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
* strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* a proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
preferred qualifications
* master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., pmp, csm, cbap) are a plus.
* 2+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, engineering, and/or program/project management, preferably within a technology-driven or engineering-focused environment.
* experience with various software development lifecycles (sdlcs), including agile methodologies.
* subject matter expertise with ai softwares and practical implementation within the workplace
* proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects or programs.
