Summary
we are seeking a highly capable document processor to work with our documenting processes and system. In this role, your duties will include the timely processing of paper and electronic documents, placing electronic documents in the appropriate electronic storage location, and verifying that the documents are legible and stored correctly. To ensure success as a document processor, you should demonstrate knowledge of document classification systems and ideally have experience in a similar role. An outstanding document processor will be detail-oriented and reliable in processing important documents.
responsibilities
1. receiving and processing incoming documents, both paper and electronic.
2. organizing documents according to classification and categories.
3. storing documents and distributing documented materials as directed.
4. securely discarding duplicate and obsolete documents.
5. archiving, retrieving, and distributing filed documents upon request.
6. performing other administrative duties when required.
requirements
* high school diploma or ged.
* qualification in office administration, secretarial work, or related training is a plus.
* knowledge of document classification categories and electronic filing systems.
* ability to securely store or discard documents and maintain confidentiality.
* excellent organizational and communication skills.
