job description:
the manufacturing technical services group is responsible for developing and transferring cutting-edge manufacturing processes as part of the company's manufacturing footprint strategy. This includes automation, digital transformation, robotics, and agvs.
the team develops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods, working closely with engineers to develop designs into solid models from concept sketches and generate detail drawings for machining, fabrication, and assembly.
responsibilities include supporting product line transfers and startups, participating in the installation and sequencing of machines, workstations, tools, parts, and supplies to optimize the efficiency of the production process.
the ideal candidate will have experience operating assembly equipment, troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components, and ability to weld and layout weldments by hand.
required skills and qualifications:
* high school diploma
* 1+ years' experience in industrial assembly or fabrication and production line setup
* associates degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
