This role focuses on optimizing merchant performance, enhancing transaction conversion, and driving business growth through scalable operations, data insights, and cross-functional collaboration.key responsibilitiesmerchant growth & conversion: design and optimize service delivery systems that enhance product operations, lead generation, and transaction conversion for new merchants on alibaba.com, continuously improving customer success and overall transaction volume.ka merchant retention: plan and execute local merchant training programs and events to drive scalable engagement and achieve key growth metrics for key accounts (kas).operational enablement: leverage data insights, customer case studies, and resource integration to support frontline sales and service teams, improving their capability to serve local merchants effectively.product feedback & optimization: identify pain points and opportunities in the merchant journey on alibaba.com and provide actionable feedback for product improvement.qualifications3+ years of experience in e-commerce merchant operations, category management, or buying; strong empathy and customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand and address merchant pain points.proven experience in program development and execution, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, and a data-driven approach to identifying issues and opportunities.fluent in business english (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).prior experience in cross-border e-commerce operations preferred.
