job summary:
we are seeking an experienced and adaptable human resources business partner (hrbp) to support our warehouse operations. This role serves as a trusted advisor to both leadership and frontline employees, driving hr initiatives that support operational goals and employee engagement.
key responsibilities:
* partner with operations leaders to align workforce planning, staffing, and retention strategies with business goals.
* support a positive and productive workplace culture through proactive communication and engagement programs.
* advise managers on employee relations matters and ensure fair, consistent application of company policies.
* conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions as needed.
* support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including recordkeeping, attendance, and training documentation.
* maintain accuracy in hris systems and assist with benefits administration.
* track and analyze hr metrics such as turnover, headcount, and absenteeism to identify trends and recommend actions.
* facilitate performance evaluations, development planning, and succession readiness discussions.
* act as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on benefits, policies, and professional development.
requirements:
* 1+ years of human resources experience or related hr support role.
* comfortable working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
* flexibility to support various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnights.
* strong proficiency in microsoft office (excel, word, outlook).
* high school diploma or equivalent.
* bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field is preferred.
* 2+ years of hr generalist or hrbp experience in logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
* experience using hris and payroll systems is preferred.
* strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are required.
