**Corporate Accountant (100% bilingual)**

**Position Summary**
The Corporate Accountant is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Mexican regulations, supporting project-based cost control, and providing accurate reporting to leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
- General Accounting: Manage journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, cash flows, and provisions.
- Month-End and Year-End Close: Prepare financial statements, analyze account variances, and support internal and external audits.
- Cost Control & Project Accounting: Monitor and consolidate costs associated with capital equipment and turnkey automation projects.
- Billing & Collections: Issue domestic and international invoices, track outstanding payments, and manage the aging report.
- Tax Compliance: Handle tax filings (ISR, IVA, IMSS, Infonavit), including withholdings and regulatory requirements.
- Management Reporting: Create monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership, highlighting KPIs such as margins, cost ratios, and liquidity metrics.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation opportunities using ERP systems and Excel tools.
- Stakeholder Communication: Interface with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and external financial partners.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting within manufacturing or capital equipment companies.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican NIF standards and tax regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1, Oracle, Dynamics, Aspel, etc.).
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting.
- Solid analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to handle technical project data.
- Intermediate English (written and reading comprehension, especially for documentation and client/vendor interaction).
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with project-based cost accounting.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of international invoicing and reconciliation.
- Accounting certifications (CPC, CEDI, or similar) are a plus.
