role purpose
the senior lead auditor is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on audits in compliance with international standards. This role ensures that organizational processes meet quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety requirements, with a strong focus on risk management and continual improvement.
key responsibilities
* lead and conduct third-party audits in accordance with iso standards.
* develop audit plans, checklists, and reports ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* assess organizational adherence to iso 9001 (quality management), iso environmental management), and iso occupational health & safety).
* identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and verify implementation.
* provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance and best practices.
* maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
required qualifications & experience
* mandatory:
* certified lead auditor for iso 9001, iso 14001, and iso 45001.
* proven experience conducting third-party audits.
* preferred:
* background in the mining industry or similar heavy industrial sectors.
* certified lead auditor for iso 27001, energy, iso 14064/verifier
* strong understanding of risk-based auditing and integrated management systems.

* excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* strong communication and report-writing abilities.
* ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines effectively.
* high attention to detail and integrity in compliance processes.
