responsible to act as the shared services provider and support halyard healthcare north america's interface in providing timely and accurate accounting services to support business management, internal and external reporting. Responsible to present accounting based on regulatory requirements by the usa government. Responsible to provide and maintain all the proper documentation for auditing internal control as external (kpmg). Responsible to maintain all proper process of accounting, revaluation, translation and daily and monthly activities required. Responsible to do accounts recons and at the same time approve other, work with cost center and balance review. Responsible for intercompany and banking process.
essential job functions
* responsible to perform routine accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations of accounts and other activities near the end of the month and during the month.
* responsible to act as a provider of shared services by providing transaction support, handling inquiries, resolving problems and communicating policies, procedures and guidelines for all mill’s north america and europe.
* carry out ongoing accounting and / or reporting activities assigned to it.
* responsible to participate actively in special projects as assigned or through the individual initiative that meet the needs of customers and improve efficiency and streamline the processes and procedures of the department.
* responsible for the assist and control in the audit and maintenance of the documentation and policies process to ensure the accuracy, effectiveness and reliability of the established financial controls, sox.
* participate in the erp test activities.
* responsible month end activities related to the position:
* month end balancing, miscellaneous intercompany invoice, intercompany payable, balance/cost center audit.
* perform routine review and analysis for expense projects.
* generate currency reval/ translations and it accruals.
* payroll recons general accounting
* settlements of projects as well as maintain under analysis for variation, commitments for service accrual
* intercompany accounting, interest and reconciliations.
* ar & ap statements for europe and north america.
* card control on revenue amortization and rebate.

* scholarship:the position of customer support accountant in general requires a four-year university degree in professional business, preferably accounting or finance.
* lenguages: english is required advance level (written, conversational, oriented to the finance business and sap knowledge).
* expericence:in general, the owner will have five years of professional accounting experience in the production accounting.
the owner must have the ability to work effectively with computer systems sap system and personal computer applications and have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
