position overview:
the air conditioning product manager will lead the end-to-end management of ac products, from market research and concept creation to launch execution and performance tracking. This role requires a deep understanding of the hvac market, strong strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to coordinate effectively with r&d, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product competitiveness and innovation within the white goods industry.
primary responsibilities:
1. Market analysis and opportunity identification:
* conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis to uncover business opportunities and shape product direction.
* gather and interpret customer insights and usage data to support ongoing product improvements.
2. Product planning and development:
* define product scope, features, and positioning based on market intelligence.
* collaborate with r&d teams to oversee the design and development of new products, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
* manage the entire development lifecycle, including documentation, roadmap creation, and iteration tracking.
3. Product launch and commercialization:
* create and execute go-to-market strategies in alignment with marketing, sales, and channel teams to ensure successful product introductions.
* support the development of marketing campaigns to strengthen brand recognition and market reach.
4. Lifecycle and performance management:
* evaluate market performance, identify improvement areas, and adjust pricing, distribution, and promotional tactics as needed.
* oversee product profitability (p&l) and implement continuous optimization strategies.
* coordinate with service and technical teams to address product-related concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.
5. Cross-functional coordination:
* serve as the central point of communication among departments such as r&d, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales to ensure project alignment.
* promote collaboration with internal and external partners to guarantee seamless transitions between product stages—from concept to market delivery.
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree or higher in electronic engineering, marketing, business administration, or a related area; prior international experience in product management is preferred.
* at least 3 years of experience in product management within the white goods or hvac sector; direct experience in air conditioning products is highly desirable.
* proficient in english, with the capability to operate effectively in a global business environment.
* solid understanding of product development, project management, and cross-departmental workflows.
* strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills; able to prepare prds and detailed market analyses.
* excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a collaborative and proactive attitude.
* strategic thinker with creativity and adaptability to changing market conditions.
* capable of handling multiple projects under pressure while maintaining high standards of execution.
