As the business development manager latam you will be recruiting new and existing regional partners and working with end users to achieve set sales targets for the latin america region for sepura. You will be responsible for developing new markets and verticals and ensuring existing market verticals are expanded to new users. Role as a proven business development manager, you will be driving the growth of sepura in the latam critical communications industry. You will be responsible for working with the existing sepura partners in territories we are already successful in and working new opportunities in countries and markets that are new to sepura. You will be using your experience gained either in the telecommunications or it industry and using your network of contacts expand the addressable customer base for sepura products. With a background in business development with government customers, large regional systems integrators or other key markets you will be driving sales through existing or new partners. You will have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets as well as successful sales through channel partners into both commercial and government sectors. Working closely with the existing team in place you will develop a strategy to address key clients across the territory assigned. You will also be a critical thinker looking at how to position sepura’s products into different verticals. Day to day our customer base includes many different industries and markets around the world. Our complete tetra and lte solutions have been developed specifically for users in multiple sectors to face their critical communications challenges. There is no such thing as a typical day here at sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business. Business development activities you will be responsible for include: responsibility for the sales targets of the latam countries assigned engaging with partners and end users on a solution selling basis. Responding to tenders and requests for information from partners and end users. Managing channel conflict to ensure margins are protected and the value of sepura products are clear to end users. Planning business cases for new services and features for the existing products to enhance customer retention and customer loyalty. Engaging with key stake holders in new verticals and sectors to promote sepura products and increase the overall market share of sepura in the critical communications market in latam planning trade shows and conference speaker slots to promote sepura and the technology direction that sepura are driving. Providing reports to the regional director and senior management team on a regular basis on the progress of sales in the territory. This job involves some travelling so the successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence, own car, and valid passport. Travel expenses will be paid. It is anticipated that around 50% of the time will be spent travelling regionally in the latam with some overseas travel to the uk. You should also have a willingness to work evenings on an ad hoc basis in order to engage with the sepura head office in cambridge uk. What you need to succeed proven track record of increasing revenue and meeting set sales targets in business development in a lmr or telecommunications environment. High level customer engagement skills. Able to reach out to all seniority levels in organisations. Ideally experience in both commercial and government sales. Proven ability to engage in the end user environment with diverse customer needs. Ability to present to high level management on sales strategies and initiatives. Outgoing and approachable manner. Available for local and international travel. Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities. Exceptional communications skills. Confident public speaker and presenter.
