job summary:
* lead a high-performing team of licensed sports product execution experts as the senior creative visionary.
key responsibilities:
* strategic leadership & oversight:
o provide overall creative direction for the design office.
o collaborate with executive leadership to align design strategy and drive business results.
* organizational development:
o build and scale a high-volume design team by defining talent development strategies.
o implement effective processes and tools to enhance team productivity.
* process & plm optimization:
o drive the adoption of plm systems across the organization.
o partner with design managers to enforce process consistency and quality assurance.
* compliance & quality assurance:
o oversee compliance across all leagues and licensors, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
o develop and implement governance structures to ensure quality standards are met.
* cross-functional & global collaboration:
o serve as the primary liaison between the design organization and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving business outcomes.
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in product design or related field.
* 12+ years of experience in design leadership roles, preferably in apparel, accessories, or consumer products.
* proven track record of managing large-scale licensed product rollouts and driving business growth.
