IT Desktop and Network Support Dispatch Mexico
We are looking for an IT Desktop and Network Support Dispatch Technician to handle installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, printers, laptops, and related peripherals in Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, printers, laptops, and peripheral hardware.
- Perform smart hand activities at sites and remotely as part of the Remote Team.
- Lifting and moving computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Provide desk‑side support and PC break/fix, including basic administration of Windows and macOS.
- Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking components (DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP).
- Support peripheral and networking hardware such as monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, switches, firewalls, racks, and cabinets under Smart Hands.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end‑user network cabling issues.
- Use ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)—experience an advantage.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups.
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chip sets, memory modules, and peripherals.
- Proficiency with operating systems: Windows, macOS, MS Office 365; familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, DHCP, VPN.
- Experience with remote connection software: TeamViewer, Microsoft Teams, PuTTY.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, take proactive ownership, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Bilingual in English and a local language (minimum B2 level).
- Experience with ticketing tools is an additional advantage.
