Data driven decisions are cited, required, and trusted at all levels and operating verticals within the company. As a part of the enterprise data engineering & enablement team, this role will be on the front edge of the new era of data enablement across the enterprise.
we are actively searching for a sr data enablement steward to work on our data enablement team. We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic about data and is comfortable working with the entire enterprise to bring better data solutions. We need someone that will be an evangelist for the team and enjoys working with multiple areas within our enterprise. As a sr data enablement steward, you will work collaboratively in an agile squad to enable and empower data users through multiple venues including but not limited to: clarification of dataflows and workflows, how data is ingested; how data is curated; and on provisioned data workflows in an on‑prem and cloud‑based environment. You will need to understand our technical environment thoroughly to work with all lines of businesses in the enterprise. You will be experienced and sometimes playing the lead role for different initiatives involving: data privacy, data governance, data quality, data cataloging, data documentation and data structuring. You will join an energetic and engaged team focused on delivering exceptional value to our business partners.

responsibilities

* help advance enterprise data enablement into the future
* promote the client’s data privacy strategy to a best-in-class environment
* work in a dynamic and exciting environment with scrum masters / project managers, product owners, leaders and team members to enable better data decisions for our enterprise
* execute and maintain best data practices with a focus on user adoption, change management, sustainability, and effectiveness.
* assess data needs and work with business leaders to define standards and policies to ensure data is compliant with defined information, process and quality requirements
* create and maintain best practices for data definitions
* collaborate with the enterprise to enable processes related to our enterprise data privacy policies (ccpa, gdpr, etc.)
* work with the development team to contribute to the communication of processes to maintain a common standard for data placed on the cloud.
* demonstrate an open-minded and collaborative approach to creating technical solutions
* analyze data and technical problems to document effective, flexible solutions
* identify and recommend appropriate continuous improvement opportunities
* continuously learn to maintain strong knowledge of technology enablers
qualifications
minimum qualifications
* bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
preferred qualification
* experience in a data management or governance related role
* must be proactive and self-driven, demonstrated initiative, be a logical thinker and comfortable with taking the lead on projects/task.
* extensive understanding of data enablement concepts and processes, to empower users of our data with the support, tools, and knowledge to advance client driven initiatives.
* strong leadership, communication, collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership
preferred experience
* experience with data privacy, data governance, data management, and data quality concepts and tools.
* experience using tools such as collibra, talend, informatica, alation, datum
* experience in sql development and/or nosql databases
* experience with cloud-based data offerings (ex. Microsoft azure, snowflake, aws, redshift, google gcp)
* experience with etl/elt tools (ex. Data factory, matillion, data build tool)
* experience working/leading agile development methodologies
