About the Role
We're looking for a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer with a passion for designing efficient, high-performance HVAC systems.
You'll be part of a collaborative and innovative team working on industrial and life-science projects across North America — designing systems that move air, energy, and ideas forward.
If you thrive on solving complex engineering challenges, love precision, and enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop mechanical systems for industrial and commercial facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and process piping.
- Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and energy modeling to create efficient and sustainable designs.
- Produce detailed deliverables in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant industry codes.
- Coordinate closely with architectural, electrical, and process teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site visits to ensure successful project execution.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
- 5–10 years of mechanical design experience, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP (at least one required).
- Knowledge of ASHRAE and NFPA standards.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative — you take pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Experience with U.S. projects is highly preferred.
HVAC System Layout and Design (Mandatory) (3 years of experience)
- Develop ductwork and piping layouts based on load calculations and engineer direction.
- Design air distribution systems (supply, return, exhaust, and make-up air).
- Layout and coordinate VAV/CAV boxes, diffusers, grilles, and terminal units.
- Generate equipment and air balance schedules.
- Apply knowledge of temperature, humidity, and airflow control fundamentals.
Why Join Us
You'll be part of a growing U.S.-based engineering consultancy that values innovation, integrity, and collaboration.
We combine technical precision with creative problem-solving — giving you the chance to work on projects that truly make an impact in the built environment.
Join us and help design the future of sustainable, high-performance mechanical systems.
