Job Summary
As the Operations Manager Mexico for Production Units, you will be based at our Ramos Arizpe factory and you'll be responsible for leading the management team of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEHS), Production, Product Engineering, Purchasing, and other operational activities of the unit. This role reports directly to the Production Unit (PU) Manager located in Brazil. Being a strategic link between leadership and operational teams you will ensure the effective execution of the defined strategy for the Ramos and Querétaro units. If you are results-oriented, with a strong focus on team development and continuous process improvement, we are looking for you!
Job Responsibilities
• Lead and develop functional and operational management teams (Quality, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Maintenance, HR, and Finance), ensuring the achievement of established goals and standards.
• Ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and high-quality standards across products and processes.
• Promote and lead operational excellence initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing, strategic resource allocation, efficient organizational structure, and the adoption of global best practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a safe and risk-free work environment.
• Establish and manage operational budgets, optimizing the use of available resources.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance indicators and a results-driven culture.
• Adapt to technological changes and ensure the unit’s competitiveness in alignment with group priorities.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Proven experience in industrial operations management.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and production systems.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
• Results-oriented profile with strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
