Job Title: HIL Validation Engineer – Automotive
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled HIL Validation Engineer to support the testing and validation of automotive electronic control systems. The engineer will work with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) benches to execute test cases, analyze results, and ensure the reliability and performance of ECU software.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, automate, and execute HIL test cases for automotive ECUs.
* Work with dSPACE/Vector HIL systems for model integration and test execution.
* Validate software functions such as powertrain, ADAS, chassis, or body controls.
* Perform fault injection, signal monitoring, and debugging of test failures.
* Document test results and collaborate with software, systems, and calibration teams.
Requirements:
* 2–6 years of experience in automotive HIL testing.
* Hands-on experience with dSPACE, Vector (VT, CANoe), or NI HIL systems.
* Strong knowledge of ECU communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
* Ability to read requirements and create automated test scripts (Python/MATLAB/CAPLayer).
