role and responsibilities
* design and build custom applications using power apps (canvas and model-driven) to support internal business processes.
* develop and maintain power automate flows to automate tasks and streamline operations – this is a core requirement for the role.
* integrate solutions with microsoft dataverse, sharepoint, sql server, and dynamics business central.
* create dashboards and reports using power bi to enable data-driven decision-making.
* collaborate with various departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
* provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for developed applications.
* monitor and enhance existing applications and flows for performance and usability.
* stay current on power platform updates and best practices to ensure sustainable, scalable solutions.
minimum requirements
* bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience with microsoft power platform (power apps, power automate, power bi).
* proficient in developing canvas and model-driven apps and automating workflows.
* familiar with microsoft dataverse, sharepoint, sql-based data sources, and dynamics business central.
* basic to intermediate power bi skills for dashboard and report creation.
* strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
* bilingual (english/spanish) preferred.
* collaborative and proactive, comfortable working in multicultural, cross-border teams.

preferred requirements
* experience developing integrations with third-party apis within power platform.
* knowledge of microsoft azure services, including azure logic apps, functions, or active directory.
* familiarity with dynamics 365 applications beyond business central (e.g., sales, customer service).
* experience supporting technology adoption and digital transformation in agricultural or manufacturing settings.
* microsoft power platform or dynamics certifications (e.g., pl-100, pl-400, mb-800).
* strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance within microsoft 365.
* experience with power pages and working knowledge of javascript for advanced customization and functionality.
