Position Summary
Remote Opportunity. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team remotely. The adecuado candidate will be responsible for managing month‑end and year‑end closings, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing financial insights to support strategic decision‑making. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. The person in this position is primarily responsible for performing daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly general accounting activities for Light & Wonder entities, including processing transactions into the system such as intercompany cost, inventory and GL records (accruals, reclassifications, taxes, etc.), preparing, maintaining and reconciling assigned accounts in compliance with governmental and census reporting while adhering to GAAP and local compliance guidelines.
Essential Job Functions for Accounting & Reporting
- Preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP SEC guidelines and company policies.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts in Blackline.
- Assisting with audit requests.
- Proposing and implementing approved process changes to drive automation and scalability.
- Supporting acquisition integration.
- Creating, reviewing and maintaining audit support.
- Perform analysis and provide explanation of the monthly/quarterly variations of some of the balance sheet and P&L; accounts.
- Complete & submit monthly and quarterly reconciliations & tasks in Blackline.
- Maintain SOX controls according to the Corporate's policy.
- In charge of keeping local accounting books updated.
- Provide all information and supporting details requested by management.
- Attend auditors' requests (internal, external and SOX auditors) and all requests from outsourcing and legal firms.
- Coordinate and follow up all processes to ensure the accounting records for accounts release royalties, fixed assets and expense accounts are maintained according to local and U.S. GAAP.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory position.
- Account reconciliation experience of balance sheet.
- Hands‑on computer experience (Excel intermediate‑advanced).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

- Must have good computer skills and knowledge.
- Must have experience with spreadsheet software.
- Must be flexible on work schedule to meet defined goals within peak periods.
- Must be able to work in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
