This consultant ensures that policies align with labor laws and that integrations with payroll systems operate seamlessly. The role involves leading workshops, testing multiple business scenarios, and overseeing the work of the assigned analyst. Their contributions ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient tracking of employee time and leave. Key responsibilities lead discovery sessions to capture and document time tracking and absence requirements. Configure time entry templates, schedules, and approval workflows. Design and maintain accruals, leave plans, and eligibility rules. Execute and validate complex test scenarios, including overtime, pto requests, and leaves of absence. Ensure seamless integration between time tracking, absence, and payroll modules. Provide mentorship and guidance to the analyst supporting this workstream. Required qualifications & skills 5 years of experience with workforce management, time tracking, or absence systems. 3 years of hands‑on experience with workday time tracking and absence (preferred). Workday certification in time/absence highly desirable. Strong understanding of accruals, overtime rules, and leave policies. Proven experience with payroll integration and data validation.
