you'll be a trusted advisor to our leaders and colleagues, ensuring that our hotels remain a great place to work while delivering exceptional guest experiences.a little taste of your day-to-day:no two days are the same, but you'll mostly be:acting as the main point of contact for all hr-related matters across both properties, fostering a positive and engaging work environment.leading recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and offboarding processes in alignment with ihg standards.ensuring compliance with ley federal del trabajo, nom-035, and other local regulations.managing employee relations and serving as an advisor to leaders and staff on policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.coordinating payroll processes with external vendors; reviewing incidences, benefits, and reporting.driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, culture, and retention.partnering with leadership teams to support career development, succession planning, and recognition programs.leading internal communications, colleague events, and community involvement programs.analyzing hr metrics to identify improvement areas and recommending actions to strengthen culture and performance.what we need from you:bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.minimum 5 years of progressive hr experience, ideally in hospitality (luxury or lifestyle segment preferred).
proven experience in multi-property or cluster operations.solid knowledge of mexican labor law, employee relations, and hr compliance.strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.hands-on experience managing payroll processes and liaising with external payroll providers.high sense of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.bilingual: spanish and english fluency required.what you can expect from us:we give our people everything they need to succeed.
