what you will do
1. actively develop react native applications used by thousands of people;
2. implement best practices and technical solutions;
3. take ownership of business requirements and design/implement testable solutions;
4. collaborate closely with the us team, pms, bas, and qas to ensure high-quality look and feel for all features;
5. develop and integrate new applications and enhancements;
6. proactively identify opportunities to improve stability and optimize the existing codebase;
7. evolve the back-end infrastructure to empower web and mobile developers in creating compelling user experiences;
8. write professional, performant, and high-quality code supporting a rapidly scaling business;
9. maintain and uphold high standards for code quality, application performance, and stability;
10. work with other engineering teams to deliver new products and ensure customer success;
11. collaborate with the product team to understand user needs;
12. ask the right questions and think deeply about building solutions that support both short-term and long-term goals.
must haves
1. 4+ years of experience with mobile development;
2. 2+ years of experience with react native;
3. experience with tools such as git;
nice to haves
1. proven experience with vue.js;
2. experience with jest and detox;
3. experience with kotlin and/or swift;
4. strong knowledge of jsx, node.js, and typescript;
5. experience working with aws, lambdas;
6. experience with expo and eas;
7. experience with sentry, datadog, papertrail.
