We are seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Network Engineer to lead and optimize our network operations across EMEA while actively supporting and designing solutions. This role demands hands-on network engineering expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting to leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead network activities in EMEA, including physical tasks at operations sites when required
- Support and verify Bill of Materials (BoMs) to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Design High-Level and Low-Level Network Designs tailored to business needs
- Oversee like-for-like migration processes, including transitioning from Cisco to Palo Alto
- Develop and implement modifications to existing network design and firewall rules as needed
- Ensure secure and reliable on-prem network setup utilizing tools like Cisco, Palo Alto, and Zscaler
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to the team to ensure successful deployments
- Collaborate with non-technical teams and leadership to present technical concepts and project updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues to maintain uptime and reliability
- Monitor and optimize network security and performance based on industry best practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with on-prem network setup and security tools such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler
- Expertise in designing and architecting both High-Level and Low-Level Network Designs
- Background in managing network migrations, including Cisco to Palo Alto transitions
- Familiarity with network security tool configurations and adjustments to firewall rules
- Presentation skills to effectively communicate with leadership and non-technical teams
- Capability to support client hours based in the Eastern Time Zone
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

- Skills in like-for-like network migration processes with a focus on seamless transitions
- Understanding of complex, multi-site network environments in EMEA
