about the role
we are seeking a senior back-end developer with strong go (golang) experience to join our growing and diverse team.
In this role, you will develop a scalable, cloud-native backend platform that powers a seamless digital mortgage and refinancing (refi) experience.
You’ll collaborate closely with front-end developers and the data team to build data services, design system architecture, and write clean, modular, and maintainable code.

Back-end development & architecture
develop and scale the back-end of a modern, cloud-based mortgage/refi platform.
Write clean, modular, maintainable code following clean code principles.
Apply strong technical skills in system design, coding, testing, and debugging.
Investigate and resolve complex and hard-to-reproduce bugs.
System integration & data services
collaborate with front-end and data teams to build robust data services.
Integrate apis, internal systems, and financial service platforms.
Perform initial qa/tests on new features to ensure reliability and performance.
Continuously learn and apply knowledge of internal systems.
Identify failure points and implement scalable, stable solutions.
Experience & background
5+ years of professional back-end development experience.
Experience in fintech, banking, lending, mortgage, or refinancing (refi) platforms (strongly preferred).
Experience with cloud-native platforms and scalable architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, it, or equivalent experience.
Technical skills
✔ strong proficiency in go (golang) — or ability to pass a go technical assessment
✔ experience with python, node.js, or c# (nice-to-have)
✔ building and scaling apis and microservices
✔ hands-on experience with:
financial/lending workflows
integrations across systems, data platforms, or databases
✔ strong understanding of data modeling, optimization, and testing frameworks
✔ excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
✔ strong communication and teamwork abilities
✔ highly organized, proactive, and adaptable
✔ ability to work independently on complex systems
