we are seeking skilled and detail-oriented
cybersecurity text fraud analysts
to support a cybersecurity project focused on identifying and classifying fraudulent and malicious text messages. The role involves categorizing phone text messages into five defined categories using our secure
ulabel tool
. Analysts will review and classify approximately 5,000 messages daily across five key languages:
english, spanish, french, japanese, and german.
key responsibilities:
* review and accurately classify phone text messages into designated fraud-related categories.
* identify patterns and indicators of phishing, scam, and other fraudulent activity in text communications.
* ensure high accuracy and consistency in labeling across large message volumes.
* collaborate with the project team to refine classification guidelines and improve model performance.
* adhere to data privacy and security standards in handling sensitive content.
* provide daily progress updates and report any anomalies or data issues encountered.
desired qualifications:
* experience using data annotation or labeling tools (e.g., ulabel, appen, scale ai, labelbox).
* familiarity with machine learning data labeling projects.
* excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle indicators of fraudulent intent.
* strong communication and collaboration skills across multilingual teams.
this is a freelancer role, designed for those who are looking for supplemental income. The project does not have a specific end date, as work availability is sporadic and varies. It's important to understand that the work may be sporadic and not always consistent. Tasks will be uploaded as they become available, and you'll be notified via whatsapp, email, or slack (once onboarded through client's portal). required qualifications:

* minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, phishing detection, or text fraud analysis.
* minimum 2 years of experience working professionally in the target language
* strong understanding of online fraud, phishing techniques, and cybersecurity terminology.
* demonstrated ability to work with large datasets accurately and efficiently.
* reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
