We are looking for a Head of MACS NTW Engineering Troubleshooting who will report to the Head of MACS NTW Central Engineering LATAM.
This role will act as the service delivery leader for the entire team responsible for interaction with Field technicians, quality experts, training, and review of technical documentation. Your role as leader will drive project quality, shorten time of installation and you will contribute to the overall success of MACS and Group Objectives.
What will you do:
- Secure the distribution of technical documentation across the delivery centers (SAGN, Vendors/3Ps, internal) in accordance with customer project requirements of costs, quality and time
- Validation of quality, FTR of technical documentation created for customer projects
- Review of Proof of Delivery for PO release (ASPs) when production is assigned external to Ericsson
- Benchmark between different delivery centers assigned for technical documentation
- Internal documentation production (in case of low demand)
- Drive improvement programs in Vendors/ASPs or SAGND when FTR and Quality standards are not met
- Follow up on OKR related with quality and first time right for installation and validation of technical documentation
- Close cooperation with Customer Engineering Responsible, Construction, Sourcing, PMO during project execution and acceptance.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Environment and Occupational Health and Safety (EHS) strategy in LATAM, including fulfillment of legal local requirements.
- Uphold high standards of Ethics, Compliance, and Integrity within the organization by consistently integrating ethical considerations into every action, guided by the principles of Purpose, Principle, and Perception (the 3 P's).
- To promote diversity within your unit aligned with Ericsson targets.
You will bring
- Proven experience in Engineering, Ericsson Solutions, Bill of Material, Inventory and Material Management
- Effective Leadership in Matrix environment with large geographical spread
- Leadership experience within complex and demanding service delivery roles.
- Strong Service Delivery experience and NRO portfolio knowledge, both Services and Products
- Experience in crisis management linked to business continuity.
- Solid experience of working with a diverse customer base and workforce
- Customer Intimacy in Brazil and Mexico
- Proven track record in transforming organizational culture and driving efficiency through automation and simplified customer engagement approaches.
- Consultative Selling Skills, fluent across engagement models – techno-commercial product engagement, Services engagement
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Health & Safety operational processes, relevant legal requirements
- Financial Understanding
- Coaching and Mentoring
- Capability to collaborate effectively with local employee representatives (where applicable)
- Presentation, communication, and influence skills
- Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish and English is a requirement.
- University Degree in Business, Engineering
Experiences
- 3+ years in leadership positions
- 5+ years’ experience as Service Delivery, Construction or Techno Commercial experience
- 5 years of experience from Telecom Network industry
- Strong personal track record and experience of network rollout
This position will be based in Brazil or Mexico.
